Policy Overview
1. Disclosure
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest at the earliest possible stage of the submission or review process.
2. Examples of Conflicts
Financial, personal, academic, or professional relationships that could inappropriately influence (or be perceived to influence) the work.
3. Evaluation
The editorial team will evaluate the disclosed information to determine whether a conflict exists and how it should be managed.
4. Management
Appropriate actions may include independent review, additional oversight, exclusion from decision-making, or other measures as needed.
5. Transparency
Relevant conflicts will be disclosed in the published article or acknowledged as appropriate to maintain transparency.
6. Compliance
Failure to disclose conflicts of interest may result in decision changes, retraction, or other actions in accordance with publication ethics.
